To meet diverse customer needs and market trends, Yuguan New Materials has collaborated with a renowned foreign company to develop PPA masterbatch. Our PPA masterbatch is specifically designed to address common issues in blown film and cast film processing, such as die buildup, melt fracture, high extrusion pressure, and product appearance defects. It is also applicable to pipe extrusion, blow molding, sheet, and fiber processing to improve manufacturing processes.

The PPA masterbatch provides slip properties and reduces the friction between the melt and the machine's barrel walls, primarily due to a fluorine-based functional additive in its composition.

Main Functions:

Reduce Extrusion Pressure and Increase Production Capacity: At the same extrusion output, using PPA masterbatch can lower extrusion pressure and temperature. Additionally, adding PPA masterbatch can increase extrusion output while maintaining product quality, thereby boosting production capacity.

Delay and Reduce Die Buildup: In both film and pipe extrusion, additives can cause material to build up at the die, which can severely affect product quality and require production-stopping cleanups. Adding PPA masterbatch can extend the time before die buildup occurs and reduce its amount.

Improve Product Appearance Quality: Poor product flow can lead to subpar appearance, low gloss, and other defects. Adding PPA masterbatch enhances product flow, increases gloss, reduces haze, and minimizes gels. During the extrusion process, if the extrusion pressure is too high and the die opening is small, it can easily cause melt fracture. The application of PPA masterbatch can effectively solve this problem.

The typical addition rate for PPA masterbatch is 0.8-1.5%. For PE (polyethylene) film products, the addition rate is generally below 0.5% after 1 hour of processing.
